Greetings from London and #cee15 (Cloud Expo Europe)!
We have been here together with our partner Interxion in stand 522 for two days and we have had a great time. The expo was huge and we sure were in good company. Over 300 exhibitors and 300 cloud experts from all around the world were gathered here to meet with approximately 12 000 visitors over the course of two days – this is one of the biggest and most well attended cloud events in the world.
We have been busy as bees showing off City Cloud OpenStack and and all the fantastic features that we have launched.

One thing that struck us is how impressed people seem to be over our design, our features and our future plans for City Cloud. That is of course fantastic to hear and having worked with this huge project for so long has probably made us less appreciative of it’s beauty. So we are very thankful for the feedback that the crowd gave us here.
This was our booth and as previously mentioned we are here together with our partner Interxion whom we work with for our continuous expansion in Europe. Today we are using Interxion’s data centers in Stockholm and London and the services and data launched and stored in London is housed right here:
On the first day our CEO, Johan Christenson, attended a panel on the Service Provider & Cloud Ecosystem Theatre. The topic was: What can Cloud Service Providers do to help enterprise organizations move from legacy systems. The other panel members were Dimitar Dimitrov, Executive Director, AttractSoft GmbH & Zetta Solutions ltd. Alliance and Aidan Simister, Director of Sales EMEA, Intermedia. Rory Duncan, 451 Research, did a great job moderating the panel and the trio had a great discussion on how we as providers can approach this challenge.
The second day began with a gondola ride straight to Excel London where the expo was held and more meetings with people from and interested in the cloud industry.

Johan also attended another panel, this time on the Service Provider Theatre on the topic Will there be more than 5 cloud providers in the future?

After two fantastic days in London we are now heading home to our head quarters in Karlskrona. Thank you to all who attended the show and came to our booth for many interesting cloud discussions. If you didn’t get a chance to see City Cloud OpenStack in action or ask us questions here in London, you will have another chance to do so on March 18 when we host a Live Demo and Q&A.
